Comfort Hotel Vesterbro

Very easy to get to from the train station. The hotel is bright and airy with a lovely atmosphere. The staff are super friendly and gave us early checkin and if you become a member of the strawberry club which is free, it’s free tea and coffee throughout your stay. No Vegetarian/Vegan hot options at breakfast, no mushrooms or beans, which we was not told on booking at £19 Each and no refund offered when brought up the issue at reception… a lot to pay for toast, fruit or cereal. No control on entry to breakfast, you have to give your room number on booking, but no one taking room numbers at door, we are sure people were just going in without having paid, actually could have walked off the street for a free breakfast.

Fab central location, all the reviews are correct as the beds are very comfortable, the breakfast was wonderful- lots of hot and cold choices all great quality. Modern hotel describes itself as ‘budget hotel’ but we thought it’s much more than that- it’s very modern and safe. Lidl very handy next door and it’s only 3 stops (15 minutes) from the airport on the train (NOT the metro - this is underground and you need to change on that one). Would definitely recommend staying here.

The relaxing ambient lighting in reception and in the room. Comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast selection. Great location. Easy check-in and out. Ability to buy food, drinks and snacks if required. Quiet, dark rooms for sleeping. Good bath and shower. Easy to charge phone. Wifi.

The hotel is being renovated so I guess the rooms will get some make over as well. Rooms are simple and clean with everything you need. Room size was good for two people to share. Breakfast selection is great. The only downside to it is that they only offer filter coffee, but is was ok. Everything else was outstanding. Plenty of seating. Staff were very helpful and nice. You can do self-check in. The lobby has a lot of seating areas and you can buy drinks and snacks there - was nice and comfy.

It was my first time in Copenhagen and I really loved how great the location of the hotel was. It was only a 5-10 minute walk from train and metro stations. Bus stop also nearby. The staff were all wonderfully nice people. Had directions, recommendations and suggestions for things to do in the city. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, truly living up to the hotel's name. A good gym and plenty of variety at breakfast so worth getting. The rooms are well heated and the shower had good pressure. A reasonable amount of clothing hangers provided too. Supermarket right next door to grab toiletries etc, newsagents and take away places nearby also. A short walk from Tivoli Gardens too.
